There are loads of fan fiction groups and you should also try Book Crossing.com which is really good but you do have to join and you can post reviews and swop books with people and stuff.
Hummm…can’t believe there is something we don’t already know about Oprah do you?.
Maybe she will, I guess it will depend on the contents of the book. Oprah has pretty much told everything about her life that there is to tell. So, my guess would be she might learn something about her father she didn’t know.
People above me are talking about her not talking to her father. Since when? I thought they were actually pretty close, more so then her and her mother.

Vicki Thompson Lewis has a series called the Nerd Series. There are 7 books I believe and they are all sooo good. The titles are : Nerd Gone Wild, The Nerd that Loved me, Talk Nerdy to me, My nerdy valentine, Gone with the Nerd, Nerds like it hot, Nerd in shining armor. I highly recommend all of these!!

Hey, thanks for giving this a look! I ordered a paperback childrens book from the Scholastic book club in elementary school, twenty years ago, and the story was so good, I want to find it for my stepson. The story takes place in the Old West. A couple of bright youngsters in a small town have a problem — It seems a travelling magician and his lackey, a huge, grim man who never speaks, are planning to fleece the townspeople of their money during a public seance, featuring a coffin and all! A spirit will be conjured from the pine box, or something to that effect. Unbeknownst to anyone except the two youngsters, the plan is for the grim, tall brute to steal some money from a bank vault while the lights are all down. The kids manage to turn a light on the dastardly duo in the act of burglarizing the vault, and the town’s money is saved! I can’t think of the title, and I must find this awesome, illustrated paperback for my kids to enjoy. Any leads would be appreciated.

Shopaholic series by Kinsella – chick lit, about a girl who can’t control her spending. It is fun, you will laugh a lot, and will be able to relate on many points (besides spending, that is)

I had a booklet through from Books For Children where you get 5 books for 50p each and then have to buy 4 more books during the first 12 months, also get a free rucksack. But when I was reading the small print I saw that you get sent the Editors Choice book or collection through every month unless you opt out of it every month.
Are any of the book clubs any good? What one/s would you recommend as ds is really into reading but hasn’t got a very big collection!
Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks
I don’t think that much of the book clubs. Are you a library member? A lot of libraries run schemes where you get free books, and most of them have booksales where books are sold very cheaply. And in the meantime you can borrow and read different books each week.
Are there any online book clubs?
When I type in book club on Google I just get websites where you can buy or exchange books. I’m looking for a group where a book is chosen to read and then at the end of the time period you discuss the book.
